What a wonderful finish to the season, a bumper crowd on a sunny day, 250 for lunch and a thriller of a game.
The Titans had a solid season, only losing once at home against the eventual winners of the league Clifton. Who remembers the draw at home against Redruth at Christmas in some testing conditions and the epic draw against Camborne who were clear top of the table at the time. The home fans have seen some superb rugby this season.
The warriors run by Brett Harvey and John Wrelton have done a sterling job, playing at level 7 there are some pretty good sides in that league and it became a challenge near the end but the lads gritted their teeth and battled through, some colts stepped up and got some valuable game time at senior level and this can only benefit the club. Well done to all.
The ladies are still on their journey and numbers are building, they play with passion and endeavour, the building blocks to any side. Good luck girls.
We even took a Vets team to Minehead for a runout, it was a fantastic day and the lads played their hearts out.
Our junior section has again performed to the highest levels, from the colts down to the tots the club is incredibly proud of the way our teams perform and conduct themselves. A massive thanks to the army of volunteers that constantly run these teams week in and week out you are the glue that holds it all together, i cant thank you enough. To see the joy in the faces when the young teams are running about is a great reminder why we love this game.
A huge thanks to all our sponsors, your continued support enables everything we want to achieve on and off the pitch. To have local businesses want to be associated with our club is fantastic.
To all the fans i hope you have a wonderful summer, enjoy the break.
See you in September
