Press Officer

I started my rugby career at Newton Abbot at Under 14’s after my PE teacher clipped me around the ear and told me to go and play rugby and not football. I played all the age groups at Newton Abbot and managed to get in to the County team at colts level playing at prop and went on to captain the team, along with the Devon under 21’s and went on to play for the full senior Devon side playing at Twickenham on a couple of occasions. From Newton Abbot I then went on to play for Bath U21’s before moving closer to home and joining Exeter Chiefs.

I spent 3 seasons at Exeter where I moved from prop to hooker and back again and got selected for the South West of England as a hooker to play against South Africa ‘A’, Queensland and Argentina and managed to get an England ‘A’ cap against South Africa ‘A’ from those performances.

The following season I moved to Wakefield to become a full time professional for two years before moving back to Exeter in 1999 to play for the Chiefs where I went on to play 199 league games for the club. From Exeter I went down south to The Cornish All Blacks where I spent 5 seasons and captained the club in their promotion season into the Championship. From their I moved into coaching and went on coached at Cullompton and Devon Under 20’s and seniors before getting the call from Tony Yapp to come to Taunton.

I am now the Team Manager with the Titans where I have honed my skills from years of organising team socials both on and off the bus to keep the off field needs of the Titans run smoothly.
