TRFC Statement

Despite The Titans gaining 4 wins from the final 4 games they have sadly been relegated back to National League 2.

Taunton RFC is a community rugby club and we do not measure the success of our club through one team this season. Our 2nd XV the Warriors have won their league in impressive style and will be promoted. The ladies have gone from strength to strength with 6 players recently being called up to the county squad. We have had Cup success within our junior section and have had more junior playing members than any season before.

The club is now firmly focused on next season which will be TRFC’s 150th anniversary. We look forward to receiving all fixtures and planning for the 2024/25 season. Our Titans matchday experience will remain the same with more local derbies and bumper crowds.

A huge thanks to those who have made this season so great. Our sponsors, without them we would not be able to put our local club on a national level. The supporters who attend our games throughout the season and made themselves heard. The volunteers that give up their time to support Taunton RFC. The parents who have braved the weather on Sunday mornings to support their teams.

A full update will be provided soon by John Wrelton our Chairman for the 2024/25 season ahead who along with Tony Yapp has already started structuring a plan for our next campaign with sights set hard on the journey back to National League One.
