Main Link Road from Taunton to Taunton RFC closed.

Unfortunately the main road which links Taunton to Taunton RFC remains closed whilst essential works are completed on Toneway and at the Creech Castle junction. Taunton Rugby Club is still very accessible through diversions that have been put into place.

If you are approaching from Taunton town centre we would advise heading across the large roundabout by Wickes and over the Obridge Viaduct. Follow the signs for through traffic. When you reach the roundabout before the club there are plenty of signs and cones up suggesting the road is closed but you can go through this and gain access to the club via Hyde Lane as usual.

For those travelling from further afield and from the M5 please follow the instructions below:

M5 Northbound Junction 25 (Exeter)

• At Junction 25, take exit to Taunton 
• At the first roundabout take 2nd exit onto     Toneway / Taunton
• At the roundabout take the first exit onto A358     (Toneway)
• Stay in the right hand lane on Toneway for 1.5     miles before reaching the large roundabout and taking the 3rd exit onto     Obridge viaduct
• After going over the viaduct take the 3rd exit     onto Priorswood Rd/ A3259
• At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto A3259
• At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Milton     Hill/ A3259. Continue to follow A3259
• At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto     Bridgwater Road. The road has signs and cones up and may look closed     however you do have access to Taunton RFC
• Turn left onto Hyde Lane 
• Taunton RFC is on your right.

M5 SouthboundJunction 24 (Bridgwater)

• At Junction 24, exit towards Minehead / A39
• At Huntworth Interchange, take the 3rd exit onto     Huntworth Lane / A38
• At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Taunton     Road/ A38, continue to follow A38
• At the roundabout, take the 1st exit and stay on     A38
• At the roundabout take the 2nd exit and stay on     A38, go through 1 roundabout
• At the roundabout take the 2nd exit and stay on     A38
• At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto     Bridgwater Road. The road has signs and cones up and may look closed     however you do have access to Taunton RFC
• Turn Left onto Hyde Lane 
• Taunton RFC is on your right
