Titans & Warriors Ready for an Exciting Pre-Season Campaign

The countdown to the 2026/27 season is officially underway, with Taunton RFC's Titans and Warriors set for a busy month of August as preparations begin for another exciting year of rugby.

Supporters will have plenty of opportunities to see both squads in action, with a mixture of home fixtures at Taunton RFC and challenging away trips designed to test the teams ahead of the competitive season.

The pre-season gets underway on Saturday 15th August, with a double-header at home. The Warriors kick things off against Dorking 2nd XV at 2:00pm, before the Titans take on Dorking at 3:30pm.

Attention then turns to Tuesday 18th August, when the Titans welcome Exeter University for a training game under the lights, kicking off at 7:30pm. These fixtures provide a valuable opportunity for players to build combinations and continue preparations before the league campaign begins.

The Warriors are back in action on Friday 21st August, travelling to Cullompton for a 7:30pm kick-off, while the Titans head to Cardiff Met the following morning on Saturday 22nd August for an 11:30am start.

The final week of pre-season sees the Titans return home to host Sidmouth on Friday 28th August at 7:30pm, before the Warriors round off their preparations away to Chard on Saturday 29th August, kicking off at 2:00pm.

Pre-season is about much more than results. It's the first chance for supporters to see new faces in action, watch returning players build momentum, and experience the excitement as both squads prepare for what promises to be another memorable season.
