MATCH PREVIEW: TAUNTON TITANS v CINDERFORD

Titans return to Summerfield determined to get back to winning ways

The Taunton Titans return to Summerfield Stadium this Saturday, looking to bounce back from their narrow defeat at Hinckley and get their National 2 West campaign back on track. Cinderford are the visitors for a 3pm kick-off, with the Titans eager to make home advantage count after a frustrating afternoon in Leicestershire.

CINDERFORD PROVIDE A TOUGH TEST

Cinderford will arrive in Somerset looking to make their own mark in a competitive National 2 West campaign. The Gloucestershire side finished fifth last season and will be keen to build on that platform.

The Titans know they cannot afford to give their opponents easy opportunities. Discipline, control at the breakdown and a strong set-piece will be crucial, while Taunton’s backline will be looking to bring the pace and ambition that produced some outstanding rugby earlier in the season.

BACK AT SUMMERFIELD

After two difficult away fixtures, a return to home soil offers the Titans an opportunity to reset and get back to winning ways. The squad has already shown its ability to score tries and compete with the leading sides in the division; the priority now is to put those qualities together for the full 80 minutes.

With the league table beginning to take shape, every point matters. The Titans will be keen to reward their supporters with a strong display and make Saturday’s fixture a turning point in their season.

LADIES DAY

This Saturday also marks our annual Ladies Day at Summerfield Stadium, making it the perfect occasion to enjoy an afternoon of rugby, hospitality and great company. We look forward to welcoming everyone to the club for a fantastic day of celebrations, alongside what promises to be an exciting National 2 West clash against Cinderford.
