The Taunton Titans hit the road again this weekend as they travel to Cornwall to face Redruth in what promises to be another exciting National League 2 West encounter.

The Titans come into the fixture in outstanding form after a huge home performance last weekend, running out emphatic 61–14 winners against Chester. It was a display full of attacking intent, accuracy, and clinical finishing, and one that will give the squad plenty of confidence heading into another tough away test.

Redruth, meanwhile, will be looking to bounce back after suffering a narrow 38–31 defeat away at Hornets last time out. Despite that setback, they remain a strong and dangerous side, particularly on home soil where they are well known for their physical approach and passionate support.

The two teams are currently neighbours in the league table, with the Titans sitting on 57 points and Redruth just behind on 50, adding extra importance to the outcome of this clash as the season continues to tighten.

Earlier in the campaign, Taunton produced one of their most impressive performances of the season when they defeated Redruth 44–16 at Summerfield Stadium. While that result will give the Titans belief, they will know this weekend presents a very different challenge away from home against a side eager to respond.

For Taunton, maintaining the intensity and discipline shown in recent weeks will be key. Establishing control up front and taking opportunities when they arise could again prove decisive in what is likely to be a competitive contest.

With both teams eager to strengthen their league positions and momentum building for the run-in, this promises to be another hard-fought and entertaining afternoon of rugby.
