Nomination of Officials and Committee Members for 2018 - 2019

We are coming to the end of a successful season both on and off the field. There is enormous satisfaction and enjoyment being part of the voluntary set-up of our club even during the rare times where life does get a little difficult and challenging! Anyone considering giving their time and energies to this wonderful cause should consider all aspects and realities of the roles available.

Being an Official or part of the Committee requires attendance at the monthly management meetings and any ad-hoc meetings or sub-groups where applicable. Those who cannot commit to this basic requirement should consider other areas of the club that are in need of volunteers – please speak to me regarding this. A great deal of work goes on between Committee meetings with many of us carrying out specific roles and responsibilities; in particular towards the running of the commercial operation and grounds maintenance.

Next season promises to be even more enjoyable as we start to reap the rewards of all the hard work carried out by everyone involved here at TRFC.

The current Management Committee has again put forward nominations for themselves to be considered for election to their allocated roles next season.

Below gives details on the rules relating to the appointment of club officials and committee members and nomination documents are attached to this news item. Should you need further explanation please do not hesitate in contacting me by phone 07876 798702 or email ben.goddard@tauntonrfc.co.uk.
