The Taunton Titans are back on the road this Saturday as they travel to the Forest of Dean to take on Cinderford in National League 2 West (kick-off 3pm).

The Titans showed plenty of fight in their last outing and will be eager to turn that commitment into league points this weekend. This fixture carries extra spice after last season’s meetings. At Veritas Park, Taunton claimed a memorable 28–17 home win, but the return trip to Cinderford saw the hosts edge it 34–21. With honours split, the Titans know exactly how tough the Beavis Memorial Ground can be — and they’ll be determined to put things right this time around.

This season brings something different, as Cinderford have installed a new artificial pitch. Historically, the Titans haven’t always found their best form on these surfaces, but the squad will see this as a chance to put that record straight. The faster track should encourage an open, running game, and if Taunton can settle quickly, it could play into their hands.

Cinderford remain a strong, physical side who pride themselves on set-piece dominance and breakdown intensity. At home, they rarely give opponents an easy ride, and the Titans will need to stay disciplined and composed to gain the upper hand.

For Taunton, the key will be matching Cinderford’s physicality up front while also looking to exploit opportunities out wide. The forwards’ work at scrum and ruck will set the tone, but the artificial surface offers a chance for the Titans’ backs to show their pace and creativity if given the right platform.

Meanwhile, the Warriors are also back in league action this weekend as they travel to Gordano, looking to continue their positive run and build momentum in their campaign.

It promises to be another busy weekend for Taunton Rugby, with both sides eager to deliver strong performances for their supporters. The Titans and Warriors alike are ready to embrace the challenges ahead and make the most of the travelling support.
