Youth Rugby Returns To Taunton

Dear all parents and guardians of youth players at Taunton RFC,

We would like to welcome you back to the Towergate Stadium for youth rugby, training will be starting this Sunday 06 September 2020 for the mini-midis then alternating every other week. In order to keep everyone safe please see below some basic details that to ensure the safety and well-being of all;

U7s railway line end of motorway pitch, please park in far end of the car park near the main pitch and training pitch then walk along the path between training and main pitch barriers around the far end of the main pitch to your designated area.

U8s Training grids Park near the left-hand side of reception and walk around the players' entrance to the grids.

U9s Training pitch, park on gravel car park and walk straight to top right-hand training pitch.

 

Following week commencing 13 September 20.

U10s as per U7s above.

U11s Motorway pitch park near reception to and walk past tunnels to the motorway pitch.

U12s Training pitch park on the gravel and walk straight to the top right-hand end of pitch.

 

Monday commencing 07 September 20

U13s, Training pitch park on the gravel and walk straight to the top right-hand end of pitch.

 

Wednesdays 

U14s, Training pitch park on the gravel car park and walk straight to the top right-hand end of pitch.

 

U15s, Motorway pitch park near reception to and walk past tunnels to the motorway pitch. 

Please be prepared to train on the grids if the 3rd team return back to training or revert to a Monday evening.

 

Colts, Training Pitch park on the gravel car park and walk straight to the top right-hand end of the pitch.

 

U16s, Motorway pitch park near reception to and walk past tunnels to the motorway pitch.

 

In all cases please ensure that you are distanced apart and you allow a safe distance to transit to the toilets and you stay behind the marked-out spaces for the spectators, due to current restrictions we will not be opening up the changing rooms, the coaches and staff at TRFC have been working hard to ensure that youth training can return safely, please adhere to RFU guidelines regarding social distancing and personal protective measures.

 

PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND WITH ANY YOUTH PLAYER, PARENT OR GUARDIAN WHO IS A SYMPTOMATIC, RECOVERING OR HAS SIGNS OF COVID-19

 

We will review the facilities and training arrangements as the direction and guidelines are updated.
