Taunton need to avenge their performance from last weekend as well as the last time they played Barnes

At the beginning of November Taunton Titans played in a great game for the neutrals in a 13 try spectacular against this weekends opposition Barnes. For the neutral it was a great game for the Taunton coaching staff it was the other end of the spectrum with the Titans going in at half time 25 - 0 down and at one point being 32 - 7 down after 50 minutes. To finish the game 51 - 38 after being outplayed for most of the game was even more annoying for the coaching team as it showed what the Titans could do if they played but to give away a 25 point lead in this league you are always going to struggle.

The 6 second half tries scored by the Titans were claimed by Chris Francis, 2 from Noah Sixton, 2 from Jarrard Hayler and a try for Dan Lee. This weekend will see a much changed starting team to the one that took the field back in November with only 4 players surviving from that game and only 8 in the match day 20. The Taunton team also sees quite a few changes from last weekends physical encounter against Henley with only 7 of the starters crossing the white wash at the start of the game this time out.

In the forwards Alex Spurdle swaps places with Chris Francis with Alfie Petch joining him in the front row. In the boiler room Milo Reynolds and Cory Teague come in for Barrie-John Chapman and Dan Ogden and in the back row Ben Oliphant-Thompson and Sam Prior come in for Julian Salvi and Jarrard Hayler. In the backs Toby East replaces Nick Mason and on the wing Matt Jess comes in for Ollie Rice.
