John Evemy

It is with deep regret thatwe have to announce the death of  Former Player, John Evemy, who passedaway on Saturday 21st December aged 89.  Our condolences go out to his  family and friends at this very sad time. 

John was a chartered accountant with A.C. Mole & Sons and a former Treasurer of Somerset County Cricket Club from 1969 until 1979 where he introduced new financial controls.  Such was the success of the new system that he was invited to Lords to lecture to the other Counties on the merits of proper financial disciplines.

His funeral will take place on Saturday 18th January 11:00 at Taunton Deane crematorium
