It is with much regret that we have to report the death of Former Player, Ernie Pike.

It is with much regret that we have to report the death of Former Player, Ernie Pike, who passed away on Sunday 26th January at the age of 90.  Our condolences go out to his family and friends at this very sad time.

Ernie joined the club in 1948 and played right through until 1963.  He was a centre three quarter and became a prolific try scorer with well over 140 in his 15 seasons with Taunton.

His funeral will take place on Friday 7th February 12 noon All Saints Church, Bisley followed by the burial in the church yard.  Donations if desired for Brockworth House Care Home and maybe sent c/o Michael Gamble Funeral Directors, Station House, Station Road,Stroud GL5 3AR
