 Taunton RFC has long been established as one of the main rugby clubs in this part of Somerset and with that carries a large support base. We wish to build on this and aim to further improve our already excellent standing within the local community.
2009 brings a well earned promotion into the newly created National Three South West League where we will be playing 26 matches as opposed to 22.
In the Autumn we also achieved the accolade of winning the BBC South West Sports Team of 2009 award, an honour, that all associated with the club, are obviously very proud.
This year also established the appointment of ex: Bristol and National League One player Simon Martin, as our player/coach. Simon is starting his third season with us and brings a wealth of experience and professionalism into the club. That, coupled with the thriving, ever growing junior sections at Taunton, we feel, couldn't be a better time to be part of Taunton RFC.

SPONSORSHIP 2009 – 2010
1ST XV MATCH SPONSORSHIP
Many businesses find that sponsoring the Club’s major home matches is a convivial way to relax, perhaps to entertain important clients or reward staff and associates. Full Match Sponsorship entitles sponsors to entertain their party in the Clubhouse. The Presidents` Lounge is available for entertaining and the package includes 20 reserved places at our pre-match carvery (further places are available at £12.50pp if required). Admission to a National Three South West League game with reserved grandstand seats is free. In addition, sponsors receive acknowledgement in the match programme and during the match commentary, and of course have the opportunity to meet the players and Club Committee after the game.

SHIRT SPONSORSHIP
Shirt Sponsorship applies for a complete season during which the sponsor’s name is associated with a particular player position (subject to availability). The sponsorship features prominently on the centre team pages in all match programmes during the season. Furthermore, should that player score (or otherwise ‘star’) during a match full accreditation is given in our match commentary. Places are obviously limited, so this offer has to be strictly on a first-come-first-served basis.

MATCH BALL SPONSORSHIP
This is an entry level Sponsorship which enables you to entertain business guests, family and friends in a convivial manner.
£225.00 buys Ball Sponsorship including 10 carvery meals, free entry to the match, reserved stand seating (by arrangement), acknowledgement on the public address system and in the match day programme plus personal thanks on the day
Additional places can be reserved at £12.50 per head

PERIMETER ADVERTISING
Perimeter Advertising is by means of hoardings around the 1st XV pitch. The Club is in use throughout the year as a conference and function venue and therefore ground advertising is an excellent means of communicating your company’s message to a wide spectrum of businesses and consumers. We offer a complete design and production service making this an easy and cost effective marketing exercise

PROGRAMME & HANDBOOK ADVERTISING
Programmes are produced for each 1st XV match and are sold at the entrance to the ground. Your advertisement will not only be seen by spectators at the match, but also by sponsors and their guests. The pocket size Members Handbook, published at the start of each season contains a wealth of information on the Club and is constantly used as a source of reference by members. Your advertisement will therefore be seen throughout the year by a substantial number of people connected with the Club
