2010/2011 Juniors Season Starts This Weekend

A registration open day event is being held for all youth sides from U6 (Rascals) to U19 at Taunton RFC this Sunday 5th September. The event will be comprised of training sessions for all age groups starting from 09:30am.

The new club shop will be open selling all essential kit items, there will also be a BBQ serving hot food, teas and coffees, and a 2nd hand kit sale.  All profits raised from the BBQ and  kit sale will go towards the youth rugby tour funds for the coming season.

The start of the season is an exciting time for all age groups, with plenty of new skills to learn from tag rugby right through to the full 15-a-side game with all the elements of contact, set pieces, and everything else which is associated with this great game.

With qualified coaches, and able helpers, the club aims to encourage a flexible, open style of running rugby and to capitalise on the development in previous years of training, but most of all to ensure that rugby continues to be fun!

Finally, player registration and membership packs will be available for completion so please help us to get as many as possible completed on the day.  Once the administration is out of the way we can focus on enjoying the rugby for the rest of the season.

So please come along and join us for this fun day which promises to be the start of yet another great season of rugby at Taunton Rugby Club.
