   SOMERSET Vikings opened their rugby league campaign with a convincing victory over a plucky Swindon team in the first ever encounter between the two sides.
6. Taunton Under-14s on Cornwall rugby tour
   TAUNTON Under-14s followed up last week’s County Cup Final victory with a tour to Cornwall. Nineteen playing members made the trip and Taunton’s first match was against Penzance and Newlyn RFC.
