Plenty Of Rugby Action At Hyde Park This Saturday

There is still a busy day of rugby at Hyde Park this Saturday, and the club are inviting all to come down and enjoy a full afternoon of egg-chasing action.

Taunton Wanderers (3rd XV) have a 2:30pm kick off in a Somerset 2 league clash with local rivals Wiveliscombe 2nd XV. The sides are almost neck and neck in the league standings, with only a single point separating them, so the stage is well set for a rip-roaring eighty minutes of amateur rugby.

In addition, there is a full afternoon of live 6 Nations international rugby to enjoy. Matches will be broadcast live via big screen in Solts bar, with tasty hot food including a hearty steak & kidney pie course available to order from 3:30pm and enjoy at your table. France vs Italy kicks off at 2:30pm followed by live coverage of Scotland vs England at 4:00pm.

The Taunton Titans and United are both without a game this week, however all squad members have been invited to come to Hyde Park and savour the afternoons feast of rugby, and a great turn out is expected. We hope all rugby lovers will be able to join us for a superb day at Hyde Park.
