Gould Exit Takes Total To Four

In a communication to the club on Monday 23rd January Colin Gould confirmed his resignation from the management committee.

A member of the club for several years, Colin was formerly Chairman of its business and finance sub-committee, before later moving to the management committee and acting as line manager to currently suspended Director of Rugby Lee Waddon.

Mr Gould’s resignation joins those of Danny Ward, Keith Cooling, and Jason Wallis, who stood down from the management committee last week.

Past President Jack Matthews and 1st XV Forwards Coach Chris Bentley currently remain with the club, contrary to some recent media reports. Coaches Jason Luff and Tony Yapp are continuing intently with their preparations and focusing of the 1st XV squad on their important match away to Hertford on 28th January.

With the recent return to the helm from a family holiday of club Chairman Pete Stone, it’s anticipated matters will now positively move forward with information to be released in due course via the club website.
