Frome 0 - 44 Taunton RFC

Two years ago on bonfire night, Taunton ran in 7 tries in their 43-17 Somerset Cup win at Frome.

Once again they lit the blue touch paper with another seven at the same venue in the same competition but this time they kept a clean slate.

Having failed to score a try in their last two matches, they finished off their year in style, taking their try count this season to 55.

They were 25 points up at half time and added a further 19 in the second session.

Touchdowns came from Ben Moon, Tex Raratabu (2), Chris Dennehy, Josh Stannard, Boschie Muller and Matt Ayres who also landed three conversions and a penalty.

Next up is a league match at Hyde Park on January 5th against Newton Abbot whom they defeated 17-15 in Devon at the start of November.
