The following players have been selected for the fixture against Hertford 1st XV to be played on Saturday, 28th January 2012. Please note that this squad selection is subject to change:
Taunton’s fast-moving week continues today with the confirmation that player Pierre Tucker has been released from his contract with the club.
Back in September the 2nd XV management team of Eddie Cooper, Russell Gibson, and Mark Hawkes speculated that it would probably be January before the United would be in a stronger position regarding players, structure, and the manner in which they played.
In a communication to the club on Monday 23rd January Colin Gould confirmed his resignation from the management committee.
Speculation is rife in the press and media with rugby forums and social networks buzzing on the events occurring at Taunton RFC over recent days.
