Taunton RFC has long been established as one of the premier rugby clubs in Somerset. The 2008/9 season brought unbeaten league promotion for our 1st XV, who also achieved the accolade of becoming the BBC South West Sports Team of 2009. An honour that all associated with the club are very proud of. This has been followed by further promotion as National 3 South West league champions in 2009/10.
Our facilities at Taunton RFC are of the highest quality and we rate amongst the very best in the area when it comes to watching rugby. Whether it is savouring match day action or just a quiet drink in the clubhouse you will be impressed with what we have to offer.
For our players there is a gymnasium, on-site physio on matchdays and training evenings, modern training equipment and high calibre coaches with experience of playing at the very highest level. All this is further complimented with ample changing rooms to accommodate the three playing pitches and training areas available.
